This program depicts treatment of a crewmember who has suffered second degree burns. The videotape depicts treatment procedures including cooling the burned extremity to limit further injury, assessing the extent of the damage, administering an intramuscular injection of pain medication, applying a burn creme and dressing and treating infection.
