Sweet Mama Redecorates - (Episode 10, original air date October 13, 1973) - Big Daddy's strapped for cash, but that doesn't stop Sweet Mama from wanting to redecorate their cave. Luckily, Blurp and Slurp come up with a brilliant idea: trade their furniture with that from Johnny and Scott's house. Now You See 'Em, Now You Don't - (Episode 20, original air date September 21, 1974) - Sheldon makes Johnny and Scott invisible so they can avoid an old girlfriend. Super Sigmund - (Episode 23, original air date October 5, 1974) - Tired of being mild mannered, Sigmund has Sheldon make him more powerful than a locomotive, or at least strong enough to take on Blurp and Slurp. Pufnstuf Drops In - Episode 23, original air date October 12, 1974) - Instead of using his magic on Blurp and Slurp, Sheldon accidentally zaps H. R. Pufnstuf into Johnny and Scott's clubhouse. Sheldon and the Nephew Sitters - (Episode 24, original air date October 19, 1974) - When Sheldon's young genie nephew, Shelby, is out of control, he turns to Johnny and Scott to help control the magical brat. One Way Whammy to Tahiti - (Episode 25, original air date October 26, 1974) - Shelby sends Johnny and a girlfriend to Tahiti, but he can't bring them back. Volume 6 Cry Uncle - (Episode 26, original air date November 2, 1974) - Zelda must leave town. In her absence a friend takes over, but the kids and Sigmund prove to be too much to handle. The Haunted House - (Episode 27, original air date November 9, 1974) - Zelda and Sheriff Bevans return from the movies to a house full of sea monsters. Mother Makes Ten - (Episode 28, original air date November 16, 1974) - Shelby's genie mother shows up in time to take care of Blurp and Slurp, who have been kicked out of their cave for bad grades. You Can't Beat a Magic Carpet - Episode 29, original air date November 23, 1974) - Shelby and Sigmund get lost while on a wild magic carpet ride.

Jekyll and Mr. Hyde duality of the Hulk and his alter ego, Dr. Bruce Banner. On the two episodes here-"The Power of Dr. Banner" and "The Origin of the Hulk"-the animation is minimal and barely serves to capture a single facet of either character's personality. It looks as if only a couple dozen pictures of the main characters were drawn; for the most part, this is a series of stationary illustrations with voice-overs and plenty of narration. -Randy Silver Captain America Captain America comes across fine, if only because he's long suffered from the same wooden boy-scout image that Superman is often given-if nothing else, these cartoons excel at capturing a one-dimensional personality. On the two episodes here-the self-explanatory "Origin of Captain America" and "Fantastic Origin of the Red Skull" (why does the Skull's origin rate higher than Cap's?)-the animation is minimal. When the citizens protest the apparent warmongering, Namor calls on Biera to explain that the arms are for defense only. To the prince's surprise, the treacherous Biera turns on him and challenges him to a duel of strength for the throne. Namor accepts, not knowing that Biera holds the ultimate weapon. Each story is divided into three six-minute serial-type segments. The animation is minimal, restricted mostly to camera zooms and moving limbs and mouths, punctuated by Batman-style sound effects ("Wham!"). Other heroes in this series include Iron Man, Spider-Man, Captain America, the Hulk, and Thor. -David Horiuchi Spider-Man Spider-Man comes across the best of the four, though part of that might be because Spidey's geeky alter ego, Peter Parker, looks and sounds remarkably like Bill Gates. On the two episodes here-"The Kilowatt Kaper," a run-in with Electro, and the self-explanatory "The Origin of Spider-Man"-the animation is minimal.
